Age no barrier as young and old compete for parliamentary seats

Discussion avec Jacques Neirynck sur Word Radio Switzerland à propos de la barrière de l’âge en politique (en anglais).
As political candidates begin throwing their hats into the ring ahead of the federal elections in October, should their age be a concern for voters? Among those hoping for another four years in national office is the dean of the Federal parliament, Jacques Neirynck, a Christian Democrat from Vaud. He turns 80 this year. On the other end of the age scale, 26-year-old Philippe Nantermod, from the canton of Valais, is running for a National Council seat. WRS’s Dave Goodman talks to both of them about the age factor in Swiss politics.
